Trevor Costelloe and his friend Dave decided to go to an abandoned water park in San Diego and casually filmed a video for their blog. What they didn’t know was that they were about to be heroes that day.
As they explore the water park, the two boys noticed a Husky looking at their direction. They initially ignored this but was taken aback when a Pit Bull appeared and ran towards them. They were a bit startled but then sensed that these dogs were trying to tell them that something was not right.
The Pit Bull led them to a small pool where they saw a dog in it, desperately trying to get out. The poor pup was giving his all not to drown and was exhausting every energy left in him to keep himself afloat.
The teenagers took action right away and went in to get the pup out of the water. One of the dogs was even there to kind of support the boy in helping his drowning friend. If not for these lads, the dog might not have made it. They were indeed at the right place, at the right time.
As soon as the dog got out of the water, his canine friends went straight to him and checked if their pal was okay. The trio was happy with the outcome as they pranced away, with their tails wagging non-stop.
The Pit Bull, whom the boys initially feared, stayed for a while to somewhat appreciate what the humans did for his friend. He let the boys pet him and instantly, he became their favorite.
Thanks to these unsung heroes, the canines are back together to explore the wild. Dogs are loyal creatures, even to their furry friends. Check out Trevor’s vlog below and be amazed by this awesome scene caught on cam!
